I was raised by hippies—collective living, Woodstock attending, world hitchhiking hippies. As such, I didn’t have a TV, let alone a game console growing up. It melts your brain, apparently.
I’ve stayed unplugged as I’ve gotten older, because I have an internet connection for content, and never really had the chance to get into gaming. Now and then I’ll end up with a controller in my hands at a friends house, but because of a lack of funds I’ve never gone out and bought a console. Also, I suck spectacularly at first person shooters and the like, so that’s discouraging. After avoiding if for so long, I was in Target and noticed that the Xbone demo stand was running Fiveza. I played through one race, in a P1.
Oh god oppo, the want.
Ohhh the want.
It’s so strong.
I want all of the Forzas. And I want a wheel.

If funds are an issue grab Forza 4 and a second hand Xbox 360. Still a great game and pretty cheap these days.

Yeah, I’ve seen some great deals on that guy Craig’s list. The other issue is between oppo and forza I’m pretty sure I’d have like two hours left in my day for other activities.

Fiveza was a little disappointing to me for a variety of reasons. I’ll echo Car Guy and say look for a used 360; you get the added bonus of a HUGE library of games that will probably be pretty cheap by now, and Fourza is arguably the better game, in my eyes at least.

Get a PC, Assetto Corsa, Iracing, and a wheel if you want an actual racing sim. Forza is a simcade, like pcars. They just don’t feel gratifying with a wheel.

I wanted an Xbox One and Forza 5 almost exclusively to drive the Lotus 49. I was not disapointed.

fiveza is hard. especaly with a controller. I almost dont want to play without a wheel but those are so expensive!
